A repositioned, operator-first brand for the US market, built from workshops and research into a cohesive brand world spanning identity, tone of voice, website, brochures, merchandise and on-site environments.
The brief.
Orbis wanted to be recognised as the premier partner for golf venues, covering academies, technology and tailored programming, while moving the brand upmarket and focusing on US operators and decision-makers. The brand needed to speak to operators first, with a trickle-down to managers, coaches and students, and flex to current and future offerings within a clear hierarchy.
Our approach.
Beginning in 2023, we ran brand workshops, competitor and industry research and a full brand audit to define positioning, messaging and an engaging but authoritative tone aligned to operator needs. From the concept exploration a monogram-led identity was selected, visualising partnership and energy transfer, which we developed into a flexible graphic and motion system with supporting typography, colour and layout rules.
We set a documentary-leaning photography style to showcase craft, precision and real-world deployments, and created a scalable sub-brand structure so Academies, Programming, Managed Services and future offers all ladder cleanly to the master brand.
The results.
The chosen identity became the engine for a coherent, operator-first brand world. Its interlock idea scales from boardroom decks and proposal templates to venue signage and event environments, so every touchpoint signals partnership and performance. A clarified tone of voice and service architecture make the offer easy to evaluate: the website and brochure guide, engage and excite in equal measure.
On the ground, presentation kits, merchandise and digital assets deliver a polished presence that builds trust face to face. Photography and video document real installations and outcomes, reinforcing credibility without hype. The sub-brand framework keeps specialist services aligned while protecting core brand equity.
